**Job Title: Material Control Operator**
**Job Description**
The Material Control Operator accurately maintains and reports inventory information for metal stock across multiple branch locations. This role combines hands-on material handling with careful inventory control, data entry, and coordination of material flow to support production in a fast-paced industrial environment.
**Responsibilities**
+ Operate sit-down forklifts, order pickers, side-loader forklifts, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
+ Load and unload metal raw materials both manually and using forklifts.
+ Complete material receiving activities for shipments between locations and direct shipments from mills.
+ Coordinate movement of material from stock to processing areas to meet production requirements.
+ Perform inventory control and cycle counting duties to maintain accurate stock levels.
