Manufacturing Buyer

Oxford Solutions is working with a growing manufacturing company in Pittsburgh seeking a Manufacturing Buyer to support purchasing, supplier coordination, and inventory-related activity for a small, hands-on production environment.

If you have experience buying for a machine shop or manufacturing operation and enjoy keeping production moving through strong vendor follow-up, accurate purchase order management, and clear communication, this role could be a strong fit.

The Role

Buy: Manage purchasing for materials, services, non-inventory supplies, equipment, and operational needs.

Coordinate: Work closely with production to plan, prioritize, and support purchasing activity based on business needs.

Track: Create, manage, and close purchase orders while monitoring supplier acknowledgements, lead times, pricing, and delivery status.
