Managing Director, Asia-Pacific Corporate Function Coordination Department

Overview

Our department is responsible for the internal control and governance for Mizuho’s APAC region. We are currently driving a large-scale core banking program across APAC, and our team plays a central role in delivery and overall program/project management.

As this is a major transformation, we must also manage customer impact appropriately. We are therefore seeking a Managing Director to lead this area.

Responsibilities

• Follow the policy & direction of the department and assist superiors in accomplishing the department’s overall duties and responsibilities.
• Lead the management of customer impacts arising from the large-scale transformation, working closely with program/project stakeholders and front-office teams.
• Provide cross-functional project management across Head Office, the APAC Head Office, and overseas offices, particularly in the area of AML compliance.
