The role. Reporting to the Director of Surgical Services, this manager holds 24-hour accountability for a surgical unit comprising 10 main OR suites and 2 CVOR suites, overseeing approximately 62 FTEs and an average daily volume of 25 cases. The manager ensures nursing practice standards, policies, and procedures meet legal and all accrediting and regulatory agency requirements while driving ongoing quality improvement programs tied to core measures and patient safety goals.
