Maintenance Technician (HVAC/R-Building Automation Systems)

Position Summary

The purpose of this position is to provide analysis, repair, design, programming, maintenance and overall management of the Universities HVAC/R and building automation systems. The HVAC/R-Building Automation Technician studies, evaluate, and recommends architectural protocols, standards & hardware. Under general supervision duties include but not limited to performing a broad range of skilled tasks and duties in the maintenance, repair, replacement, and installation of HVAC/R-building automation systems. Assist in Snow removal when necessary. Assist in emergency service in addition to routine work as directed. Education/Experience High school diploma or equivalent, plus five years of technical work-related experience working with complex HVAC and building automation systems and equipment including chillers, boilers, package units and refrigeration systems with a HVAC/R license & EPA certification or equivalent combination of education and experience.
