Maintenance Craftsman (2 Positions)
Burlington, MA
Working under the general supervision of the Superintendent of Recreation Maintenance, the Maintenance Craftsman performs manual works of a skilled and semiskilled nature in the maintenance and care of recreation areas, athletic fields, parks and playgrounds. Examples of work include:
+ Ground maintenance tasks.
+ Maintains all public and school athletic fields, parks and playgrounds.
+ Operates, maintains and repairs specialized vehicles, equipment, and tools.
+ Performs semi-skilled carpentry, plumbing, electrical and masonry duties.
+ Maintenance of recreational facilities.
+ Responds to weather emergencies.
+ Performs related work.
Minimum qualifications include
+ High School Diploma and one year of experience in the maintenance of recreational areas.
