Our Facilities team are responsible for the installation, commissioning, maintenance and servicing of site facilities, systems and equipment to ensure that they meet the needs of the organisation and its employees.

Purpose of the role

We are currently recruiting for a Maintenance & Installation/Facilities Engineer to join our team here in Newport! Reporting to our Facilities Manager the Engineer will be part of a team who are responsible for the installation of SPTS systems and associated equipment.

Day-to-day responsibilities include:

  • Assisting in the installation and start-up of new equipment and systems
  • Testing equipment connections and functionality to ensure proper installation.
  • Fault finding and equipment failure repairs
  • Performing ongoing preventive maintenance and repair work on facility mechanical, electrical, and other installed systems and equipment
