Responsibilities
Interpret and apply local, state (Georgia), and federal employment laws, including Title VII, ADA, FMLA, ADEA, and FLSA.Draft, review, and update employee handbooks, offer letters, non-compete agreements, and separation packages to ensure they are legally sound and enforceable under Georgia law.Provide real-time counsel to HR and executive leadership on sensitive matters such as terminations, disciplinary actions, and internal investigations.Manage and oversee outside counsel for employment-related litigation. Represent the company in administrative hearings before the EEOC or the Georgia Department of Labor.Conduct regular training sessions for management on wage-and-hour compliance, harassment prevention, and evolving labor standards.Design, build, and improve legal team processes. Consult and protect Qcells against legal risks, penalties, and investigations.
