Job Summary

Under the guidance of the Plant Superintendent, the Plant Lead is responsible for all daily ready mix plant administrative tasks and record keeping. This is inclusive of safety, maintenance, environmental, raw materials, driver logs, and all other daily operational complaince.

Job Responsibilities


Safety:

  • Adheres to all CEMEX and OSHA rules and regulations at all times, and wears proper safety equipment while on plant grounds, meeting or exceeding CEMEX and OSHA safety standards
  • Promotes safety within assigned plant and serves as an example using visible felt leadership
  • Responsible for ensuring employees are identifying Safety Improvement Cards (SIC) opportunities
  • Assists in the review and closure of all Safety Improvement Cards for assigned plant
  • Responsible for the safety of all employees and the safety of anyone at assigned plant
