Lead Pastor

Job Description:

Victory Church of Humboldt is in search of a lead pastor. We are a non denominational congregation of members. Our church began in July 3 after a failed disafflilation vote by our local Methodist congregation.

Victory Church of Humboldt is in search of a male ordained pastor , ages to , with a minimum of 5 years of experience.

Duties would include leading Bible based worship services and lead Bible studies weekly on Sunday mornings and Wednesday nights. Expected to perform ceremonies such as baptisms, weddings and funerals. Offer support and guidance to members of the congregation in times of need. Assist in community outreach and visiting shut-ins, hospitalized members and make care calls to members. Be present in the community representing Victory Church. Demonstrate effective Bible knowledge, good communications skills, both written and oral.
