Lead Data Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a highly capable, hands-on Data Lead to build and scale PetroApp’s data function.

This role will own the end-to-end data roadmap across analytics, business intelligence, data engineering, governance, and advanced analytics use cases. You will work closely with Product, Engineering, Operations, Commercial, Finance, and Leadership to make data a core competitive advantage for PetroApp.

You will be responsible for building a trusted data foundation, defining the right KPIs, improving decision-making across the company, and enabling high-impact use cases such as transaction analytics, customer growth, fraud/anomaly detection, operational efficiency, and unit economics.

Key responsibilities

• Define and own PetroApp’s data strategy, roadmap, and operating model.
• Build and scale the company’s data foundation, including ingestion, transformation, modeling, warehousing, and self-service analytics.
