L1 Security Engineer

The L1 Security Engineer responsibilities

• Provide 24 × 7 support for the Data Center, running on 12‑hour shifts.
• Maintain systems and controls to protect against unauthorized access, disclosure, modification and deletion of information through resources and computer networks.
• Support logs, categorize, prioritize, track, and route incidents reported by users or alarms raised by monitoring tools.
• Interact directly with business technical specialists to guide on authentication, authorization and encryption solutions.
• Investigate known and suspected information security events and develop related reports.
• Conduct hardware and software security alerts as available.
• Resolve issues by responding to IT threats and vulnerabilities.
• Conduct routine security risk analysis, evaluating business needs against collisions, vulnerabilities and resulting risks.
