Barkz & Recreation is looking for a hardworking, dependable, and confident Shift Lead to join our team!
This is a leadership role for someone who is experienced working with dogs, able to multitask in a fast-paced environment, and comfortable helping manage daily operations alongside management.
This is NOT just “playing with dogs.” This position requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, cleaning, physical labor, time management, and the ability to stay calm under pressure.

- Supervising daycare and boarding dogs.
- Assisting with staff training and working interviews.
- Helping oversee daily kennel operations.
- Monitoring dog behavior and maintaining safe playgroups.
- Cleaning kennels/yards thoroughly throughout the day.
- Assisting with enrichment activities and themed events.
