Job Description
large university is looking for a Java Developer to support and enhance several mission‑critical, custom developed Java applications that will remain in place post–go‑live. These applications support core business and student-facing systems, including degree audit, account claiming, and large-scale student onboarding workflows. The ideal candidate can quickly understand existing codebases, work semi‑independently, and contribute to ongoing development and maintenance efforts. This role is custom application–focused and is not an integrations-heavy position, though some API consumption and light API development may be required once business logic is established.
