JAVA DEVELOPER

Back end Java Developer required to join a dynamic inhouse team at a large corporate client based in Durban.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Lead support for the current application
• Work with the business to understand, document and implement features and enhancements to the application
• Manage and maintain existing code base
• Research and define solutions in the logistics space

Technologies required

• Java EE and JDK 1.8
• REST and JSON
• Maven build
• Databases MS SQL and POSTGRE
• Gradle (advantageous but not essential)
• RabitMQ (advantageous but not essential)
• Angular JS (advantageous but not essential)
• Bootstrap (advantageous but not essential)

Qualifications & Experience

• Relevant degree in Information Technology or other similar qualification
• Able to write robust production codes
• Experience with SQL...
