Java API Developer

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain Java-based REST APIs and microservices aligned to agreed architecture and standards.
• Implement business requirements with strong focus on code quality, performance, and security .
• Integrate APIs with backend systems, databases, and external services.
• Perform unit testing, integration testing, and support defect resolution.
• Participate in code reviews and adhere to CI/CD and DevSecOps pipelines.
• Support release activities, production deployments, and incident resolution.
• Coordinate effectively with onshore leads and offshore development teams.

Core Technical Skills:

• 5+ years of experience in Java (8+/11+), Spring Boot, Spring MVC
• Strong experience in RESTful API development
• Working knowledge of API security (OAuth2, JWT, basic encryption)
