IT Software Engineer (EHS/LIMS interfaces, HL7, CorePoint engine)

Job Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Architect, develop, implement and support/maintain interfaces that enable the exchange of patient and lab data between hospital systems (such as HIS and EHR) and laboratory information management systems (LIMS).
• Productivity expectations for a Corepoint Interface Engineer include:
  • Development of 3-4 concurrent interface projects, 10-15 projects yearly.
  • Complete an interface project in 90 days, or as quickly as possible given lab/client resources and competencies.
  • Handle a proportionate share of support tickets for Corepoint environment.
• Collaborate with stakeholders including clinical laboratory staff, hospital IT teams, and vendors to define requirements and technical specifications, and clearly set and maintain expectations, challenges, and proposed solutions.
