Duties & Responsibilities

• Monitors card transactions 24/7, real time and ensures the bank’s approval rate is maintained at an acceptable level within industry averages.
• Assists and resolves customer issues on card transactions.
• Coordinates with clients, acquiring banks and merchants through all possible channels to process authorization requests, validate transaction information, and confirm or cancel authorizations as long as within the bank’s policies and guidelines.
• Informs, educates and advises clients on how to resolve declined transactions when the reason for the decline is beyond the bank’s control.
• Alerts the concerned unit if there are monitored interruptions in the system that may impact processing of transactions.
• Prepares daily reports on declined and approved transactions per shift to monitor approval and decline rates.
