INTL Java API Engineer - AOR

Job Description
We’re looking for a strong Java API Engineer to join a high-performing engineering team focused on building and scaling backend services. This role will focus on designing, developing, and maintaining robust, secure, and scalable APIs that power critical business applications.
The ideal candidate brings deep experience in Java-based microservices, has a strong grasp of API design best practices, and is comfortable operating in a cloud-based, production environment.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
Design, build, and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services using Java
Develop scalable microservices using frameworks like Spring Boot
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (frontend, product, DevOps) to define and implement API requirements
Ensure APIs are performant, reliable, and secure (handling latency, error handling, retries, etc.)
