Job Description:
- Conduct operational audits across restaurant locations, including cash handling, stock, food safety, waste, and asset controls
- Perform corporate audits covering finance, HR, payroll, procurement, and compliance functions
- Assess the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls and recommend practical improvements
- Ensure compliance with company policies, SOPs, and applicable South African legislation
- Analyse financial and operational performance data and validate reporting accuracy
- Prepare clear, concise audit reports outlining findings, risks, and recommendations
- Perform followâup audits to ensure corrective actions are implemented and effective
- Support the development of risk management frameworks and annual audit plans
