Job Description

We are currently hiring an experienced Instrument Technician to join our team in Svalbard on a contract basis. As an Instrument Technician you will be responsible for installing, maintaining and repairing various types of instrumentation and control systems. This role requires strong technical skills and attention to detail to ensure the reliable operation of our equipment.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot and repair various types of instrumentation and control systems
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on equipment
• Diagnose equipment malfunctions and perform necessary repairs
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a safe working environment
• Keep accurate records of work performed and any issues encountered
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient operation of equipment
