Infrastructure Engineer - Workplace

Overview

This role ensures the support and maintenance of infrastructure solutions and services in accordance with QBE and divisional policy. The incumbent will work within a team of infrastructure specialists and engineers to deliver and sustain services, collaborating with third‑party partners as needed.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the security, confidentiality and integrity of information systems, complying with relevant legislation and regulations.
• Design, implement and operate controls and management strategies for information security.
• Support, design and implement infrastructure technologies and solutions, including compute, storage, networking, physical infrastructure, software, database, middleware, commercial off the shelf (COTS) and open source packages, and virtual and cloud environments (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS).
