Duties:
Safely and competently perform troubleshooting, repairs, and inspections on a wide variety of equipment, piping, pumps, process fans, motors, fans, conveyors, chutes, etc. in both inside and outdoor applications in a continuous operating environment.Erect, fabricate, inspect, dismantle, overhaul, clean, service, repair, adjust, test, assemble, and lubricate machinery and equipment.Understand and perform furnace hot repair work including overcoating sidewalls, spout lip changes, tweel replacements, etc.Read, understand, and execute work using blue prints, sketches, maintenance manuals, and other documents.Perform craftsman-level welding using various types of gas and electric welding and burning equipment.Be willing and interested in learning additional skills beyond traditional mechanic skills to become a cross-functional crafts-person.Perform troubleshooting, identify, and use correct ...
