HVAC Mechanic I

Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent, two years of HVAC experience, and possession of a valid driver’s license and maintenance of a driving record sufficient to maintain insurance coverage under the University of South Alabama. Completion of an HVAC training program may substitute for the required experience. Maintains operation of HVAC equipment consisting of water chillers, high temperature water boilers, air handling units, pumps, motors valves, pneumatic and electronic controls and other related equipment.

Monitors building spaces and controls temperature, humidity, and building pressure using an energy management computer system.
