Join IKO Industries as a Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Specialist. Your mission will be to implement and enhance Health & Safety programs, ensuring compliance and cultivating a culture of safety.
In this role, you will support several plants with safety evaluation, risk assessment, and compliance with legislation. You'll collaborate with managers to direct safety initiatives and will lead incident investigations to ensure continuous improvement. Your leadership will directly impact employee safety and operational performance.
Key Responsibilities:
• Coach and mentor employees on safety practices
• Evaluate and eliminate hazards with effective controls
• Liaise with regulatory agencies for compliance
• Facilitate JHA and SOP development and updates
• Maintain training schedules per regulatory requirements
