Healthcare Payment Posting Specialist

The Payment Posting Specialist is responsible for accurately recording, reconciling, and managing insurance and patient payments to support efficient revenue cycle operations. This role works closely with the Billing and Accounts Receivable teams to ensure payment accuracy, resolve discrepancies promptly, and maintain compliance with payer guidelines and organizational standards.

Job Description

• Accurately post insurance and patient payments, including EOBs (Explanation of Benefits) and ERAs (Electronic Remittance Advice), within established turnaround times.
• Apply contractual adjustments, write-offs, denials, and payment corrections in accordance with payer guidelines and company policies.
• Reconcile posted payments against bank deposits, remittance reports, and system records to ensure financial accuracy.
