Global Head of Financial Crime Strategy

About the role

NIum is looking for a Global Head of Financial Crime Strategy to lead prevention and detection, and reporting strategy, and to collaborate closely with our operations, legal, regulatory compliance and product teams. The successful candidate will be a self‑starter and driven individual who is keen to work in a fast‑paced dynamic environment.

This role will lead Financial Crime Strategy for the first line of defence and report directly to the Chief Operations Officer (COO). The remit is to build out the Financial Crime Compliance (FCC) programme with priority to support and protect the business against Money Laundering Risk, including Counter‑Terrorist Financing and sanction risk, and to ensure swift detection of money laundering activity and embed anti‑money laundering legislation, rules and guidance throughout the business.
