Genetic Purity Lab Coordinator

We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join our team to apply cutting-edge tools and techniques in molecular biology, genetics, and genomics in routine seed business operations. The position provides day-to-day coordination, scheduling, and data collection for the Quality Genetic Purity Lab testing program. Assists Lab Manager with technical supervision and training of laboratory personnel performing variety identification, hybrid purity and ploidy tests and actively participates in running routine tests. Conducts research of new and improved tests for commercial products and breeding material using lab methods such as DNA-based markers or other molecular assays. Coordinates outsourced testing and data entry. Participates in investigation of anomalous test results and updates the Genetic Purity Lab Manager about issues requiring management decisions.
