Genetic Counselor

We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Genetic Counselor.

In this role, the successful candidate will be responsible for fulfilling the need for genetic counseling services in Bellevue Hospital. Offers services in the inpatient wards and outpatient clinics of Bellevue Hospital.

Job Responsibilities:

Performs other duties as assigned.

Demonstrates knowledge of the organization's Core Values and incorporates them into the performance of duties.

Provides neurogenetic risk assessment and counseling.

Performs diagnostic testing and counseling for neurological genetic conditions due to clinical presentation or because of a positive family history.

Performs pediatric and adult diagnosis of genetic diseases.

Conducts genetic evaluation of individuals at risk due to clinical presentation and family history of genetic disease.
