QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering Government Certificate of Competency (GCC – Mines & Works) Minimum of 10 years’ experience in a mining environment, preferably in open cast chrome operations Strong knowledge of plant maintenance, mining equipment, and safety regulations Proven leadership and team management experience KEY COMPETENCIES: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Excellent leadership and communication abilities High attention to detail and safety standards Ability to work under pressure in a demanding mining environment   ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Oversee and manage all mechanical maintenance activities across the mine and both processing plants Ensure optimal performance, availability and reliability of all mechanical equipment Develop and implement preventative and predictive maintenance strategies Manage breakdowns and ensure minimal downtime through effecti...
