Position Summary:
Performs a variety of duties relating to the provision of meals to patients and customers and nourishment to patients.
What You’ll Do:
Uses a variety of kitchen utensils and equipment, including blenders, toasters, and frappe machines.Ensures that all foods prepared meet existing standards for quality, freshness, taste, and appearance.Ensures that all cooking equipment and utensils used are inspected and maintained for cleanliness and proper operation. Maintains work area in a clean and orderly manner.Ensures that all required sanitary levels are maintained throughout the food preparation process.Alerts supervisor to problems and needs concerning equipment and food supplies. Detects and reports spoiled or unattractive food, defective supplies, equipment, or other unusual conditions.Follows proper food handling techniques using US Food Code standards. Rec...
