What are the primary job duties?
General Accounting
Assists in the preparation and development of the annual county-wide budget including analysis and review of department budget amounts. Assists with preparation of department budget summaries and analysis documents for presentation. Attends department budget meetings as requested. Identifies, reviews, and prepares journal entries for month and fiscal year end along with supporting documentation. Reviews balance sheet, revenue, and expense accounts and prepares reconciliations as needed, using financial reports along with other department or institutional documents.
