ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Communicate with Field Manager, Customer Service Representatives and Port Representatives as necessary to gather information regarding ship arrivals, allocations, special campaigns and priority orders.Based on projected work load, schedule appropriate number of employees to insure timely completion, quality and the most efficient utilization of staffing.Communicate work assignments to Drivers and Shipping Coordinators and monitor progress toward completion throughout the day.Adjust work assignments as necessary to accommodate needs of Port Representatives and other Departments.Oversee the off-loading of vehicles to the designated area as instructed by the Field Manager.Verify the number of vehicles off loaded and that the purification of the manifest is complete and accurate.Keep work crew advised of changing priorities and assignments.Plan vehicl...
