Occupational Summary

Admissions work-studies will work in Craven First Stop and will be involved in answering phones, providing helpful information to students, and assisting current and prospective students as needed. Admissions work-studies aid Admissions Specialists, Advisors, Student Records staff, and Financial Aid Officers in creating a comprehensive system of student support within Student Services.
HOURS NEEDED: Monday - Thursday 8:00 to 5:00 and Friday 8:00 to 12:00

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Answer college phone lines and transfer calls
  • Check students in to First Stop
  • Assist students with the enrollment process, including but not limited to: completing residency determination and the CFNC application, obtaining high school transcripts, and answering general questions
  • Assist students with ordering transcripts
  • Schedule Financial Aid and Veteran Affairs appointments
