Fabrication Lead- 2nd Shift

POSITION SUMMARY:

The core mission of the Fabrication Shift Lead is to efficiently and accurately direct the fabrication of metal assemblies in the construction of custom prefabricated structures and custom components in a factory environment. The Fabrication Shift Lead is responsible for the oversight of the fabrication section of the factory including production, crew direction, quality assurance, work planning and safety.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Develop, train, provide effective supervision and motivate fabrication personnel. • Assists interpreting specifications, blueprints, and job orders to employees and assigns duties. • Manage and direct staff and work with the department Manager/Foreman to address employee issues as they arise. • Coordinates and confirms that team members understand and are in compliance with the current company policies and procedures. • Monitor project timelines and expenditures on a per project basis to...
