Environmental Officer

Job Description

A brilliant Mining Company based in the North West Province, has a challenging opportunity for an Environmental Officer. The role will be responsible to maintain or improve environmental performance on an operational level and ensure compliance to environmental legislation and standards.

The successful candidate must meet the following requirements:

•Grade 12 Certificate or equivalent qualification is essential

•A relevant degree or diploma in Environmental Science/Management is essential

•3 years’ of environmental management experience in mining or similar industry

•Computer literacy (MS Office package) is essential

•ISO 14001 experience would be an advantage

•IsoMetrix (or similar system) experience would be an advantage

•Valid Medical Certificate, or medically fit in order to obtain such a certificate
