Vacancy Description
Building Envelope Materials is hiring Energy Efficiency Supervisors for seasonal work from April 1 to October 30. The Energy Efficiency Supervisors will work with several other team members to install Pinhole Insulation in large multifamily buildings in Boston. Pinhole Insulation is a novel minimally invasive retrofit insulation technology that results in 20 - 30% energy savings. All training and equipment will be provided.
Job Duties/Responsibilities
- Work with building management to schedule apartments
- Use smartphone app to calculate appropriate insulation parameters
- Prepare apartments for installation
- Use the Talking Rig to install insulation
- Log the job in the smartphone app
Qualifications
- Reliable
- Good teammate
- Able to work for 6 to 8 hours/day in sometimes crowded apartments
- Motivated to reduce global warming
