Vacancy Description

Help keep our production running at peak efficiency by applying best practice in electrical maintenance and ensuring compliance with NZ regulations and standards. This is a full-time, permanent role in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, reporting to the Engineering Supervisor based at our Waitara Site.

What you will do:


  • Maintain and install single and three-phase systems to NZ standards.
  • Complete daily plant start-up checks and respond to breakdowns.
  • Fault find and repair electrical control systems (plus minor mechanical work).
  • Assess, cost, and install new equipment.
  • Monitor processing systems and ensure equipment safety and compliance.
  • Coordinate contractors and liaise with maintenance, production, and suppliers.
  • Support health & safety and food safety standards, and complete daily documentation.
