Electrical Engineer

Overview Report directly to the Engineering Manager, this position is responsible for overseeing and managing the design and detail of engineering activities for industrial electrical equipment and products. This includes development of electrical drawings, sizing of electrical components, preparation of bill of materials, and technical supports for other departments. Working knowledge with CSA and UL standard, hazardous location classification and requirement is required. PLC programming knowledge and/or experience is preferred. This position requires full-time onsite presence every day for close interaction with the fabrication and engineering teams at our manufacturing facility in Calgary, AB.

Primary Duties Team Leadership & Employee Management

Provide technical leadership and guidance on the design, specification, and implementation of electrical systems and control panels.

Provide status update to the Engineering Manager and Project Management Team.
