Electrical assistant

The Electrical Assistant supports qualified electricians and electrical supervisors by assisting with electrical maintenance, inspections, installations, and housekeeping activities to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation of electrical systems within the zinc mining operation.

Key Responsibilities Safety, Health & Compliance Work in accordance with Mine Health and Safety legislation, mine standards, and electrical procedures. Follow all instructions related to lock‑out/tag‑out, isolations, and permits to work. Use required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times. Identify and report unsafe conditions, defects, and hazards. Participate in toolbox talks, risk assessments, and safety meetings.
