Position: DREF Operation Coordinator
Department: Disaster Management
Location: NHQ / Sandakan, Sabah
Employment Type: Temporary Contract (5 Months)
Reporting To: Disaster Management Manager
JOB PURPOSE
The Operation Coordinator will lead the planning, coordination, operational management and implementation of activities under the DREF Operation (MDRMY013) in Sabah. The role will work closely with MRC, IFRC surge teams, district teams and relevant stakeholders to ensure effective humanitarian response operations in accordance with MRC and IFRC operational standards, SOPs and donor requirements.
