Position Summary

The Director, BD Excellence Innovation partners with New Product Development (NPD) teams to strengthen innovation execution through scalable, best-in-class business system practices. Working with R&D leaders across PMO and engineering disciplines, this role drives measurable improvements in NPD on-time delivery, schedule compression, cost reduction, and product quality. In close collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders, the BD Excellence Innovation Director deploys tools and processes aligned to BD’s strategic objectives, increasing day-to-day rigor and efficiency from development through commercial execution. The role is also responsible for building and sustaining continuous improvement organizational capability by championing Kaizen and a growth mindset across BD.

This role reports to the Sr Director, BD Excellence Innovation and is based on the East Coast.
