Declaration - Clearance Assistant

Qualifications

• Minimum SPM or at least 1 year working experience in Logistics industry.
• Able to converse in English and Bahasa Malaysia
• Self‑motivated, resourceful, resilient, independent and team player

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit accurate import and export declarations through the customs system
• Prepare and submit necessary documents at the customs building for import and export clearance, including K1, K2, K3 and K8 forms
• Coordinate with customs officers to ensure timely and smooth customs clearance of shipments
• Maintain proper filing and archiving of customs documentation for easy retrieval and auditing purposes
• Follow up and process any customs clearance issues or discrepancies and escalating to the supervisor for further action
• Provide updates to the team on the status of pending shipments or clearance processes
