Responsibilities

• Install and configure database software
• Monitor database performance and make necessary adjustments
• Troubleshoot database issues and provide timely resolutions
• Develop backup and recovery plans
• Ensure data security by implementing access controls and encryption techniques
• Collaborate with other team members to design efficient database systems
• Regularly perform data backups and conduct disaster recovery drills

Requirements

• Proven work experience as a Database Administrator
• Strong knowledge of database management systems such as MySQL, Oracle, etc.
• Experience in database design and implementation
• Familiarity with data backup, recovery and security best practices
• Excellent problem‑solving skills
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
• Strong attention to detail
