Data Scientist

Responsible for working with and understanding the various elements of data both internal and external to the organization and its clients. Explores the usage pattern and help with profiling the data from sources. Assists in mapping to a conforming model, work with business groups to help build that model, and eventually be expected to assist in governing the model. Works with product groups to understand existing data, and works towards cleansing and conforming that data. Understands the business logic behind the various HR calculations, and assists in creating new standard calculations for the organization. Finds relationships and analyze critical factors for use in predictive models. Guides the decisions on which BI objects to build based on the subject area, guide the best practices for data visualization, and help to dictate the standards for the delivery of information.
