Key Responsibilities:
• Develop, review, and update credit policies and underwriting guidelines to align with the organization's risk appetite.
• Review performance indicators like delinquency rates, NPL ratios, and vintage analysis to identify emerging risks.
• Work closely with Sales, Credit Operations, Finance, and I.T. to coordinate system enhancements and automation.
• Prepare technical reports for the Board and Risk Management Committee regarding policy exceptions and override rates.
• Provide risk advisory and assist in portfolio stress testing and scenario analysis.
Qualifications:
• Degree in Finance, Economics, or Math; Master's degree preferred.
• 5+ years of credit policy experience in the banking or financial sector.
• Extensive familiarity with the full credit life cycle and BASEL/IFRS9 standards.
• Excellent professional writing skills for drafting formal technical frameworks.
