Job Description
- Conduct a thorough check of the equipment before and after operation on a daily basis
- Check all safety devices and hoisting cables of the crane and report abnormalities or the need for replacement
- Properly assemble crane boom and accessories based on the job requirement
- Perform lifting and transferring of various types of load using the lifting equipment as required by project operations
- Ensure that the equipment is operated within the limits of its specifications as indicated on the equipment manual
- Ensure that the lifting equipment is positioned and set-up properly before proceeding with lifting and transferring of loads
- Ensure that the equipment is properly parked and shut-off on the designated location after operation
- Ensure the cleanliness of the interior, exterior and accessories of the equipment is maintained at all times
