Crane operator

As a part-time crane operator you will be responsible for operating and maintaining cranes in a safe and efficient manner. This role is perfect for individuals looking for flexible working hours in the city of Svalbard. No prior experience is necessary as we will provide on-the-job training. This job is open to all genders and does not require any specific visa or accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Operating cranes to lift, move, position and place materials and equipment.
• Performing pre-operational checks on cranes to ensure safety.
• Maintaining the cranes' cleanliness and reporting any malfunctions or defects.
• Following all safety protocols and regulations to prevent accidents.
• Collaborating with other team members to ensure smooth workflow.
• Keeping records of daily activities such as materials lifted, weather conditions and equipment usage.
