Computer Aided Design Engineer : CenterPoint Energy

Our client is located in Downtown Houston and looking to add a CAD Design Engineer to their team on a 12+ month contract basis. Must be local to Houston. This role is onsite.

Job Responsibilities:

•Develop and revise standards, specifications and design criteria to be used by CNP utilizing MicroStation CAD software.

•Ensure design adherence to applicable internal standards and procedures, and ensure compliance with external code requirements (NESC, ANSI, ASTM, IEEE, ERCOT, NERC, etc.).

• Design and develop systems, components, or processes based on project specifications and requirements.

• Conduct testing, analysis, and evaluations to ensure functionality, safety, and compliance.
