Computational Fluid Dynamics Engineer

Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Mechanical CFD Engineer to support a Next Generation Aerospace Program focused on detailed design and CFD analysis of nacelle ventilation systems. The role involves end-to-end engineering activities including CFD evaluations, thermal and airflow analysis, detailed mechanical design, supplier coordination, and engineering change execution within a regulated aerospace environment.

Key Responsibilities Perform CFD evaluations and airflow/thermal simulations for nacelle ventilation systems. Conduct engineering calculations using: Hand calculations and 1D analytical models ANSYS CFX simulations 3.Thermal and ventilation performance assessments 4.Prepare detailed CFD and engineering calculation reports. 5.Develop detailed mechanical designs in line with PDR (Preliminary Design Review) requirements. 6.Create and manage 3D CAD models using NX and PLM systems. 7.Execute Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) and support SEDR qualification activitie...
